We want to thank the City of Sherman for hosting our race during the Sherman Art Fest.
We also want to thank all that came by to check out the fun sport of drone racing. We had 17 pilots come out and try their luck at winning part for the $900 dollar purse. The weather was awesome and it was fun to see crowds clapping and cheering and their interest in the sport. Many came by with questions about the drones and how to get involved in drone racing. Our Club President Jay McKibben stated “It is great to be able to race at different venues like this to expose new people to the excitement of drone racing.”
Our top winners for the day were Joaquin Ybanez, Leo Barbera and Ivan Efimov which took home $500, $300 and $100 respectively.
We thank everyone that was involved and hope to have a race again at next years Sherman Art Fest!

Racing today at the home course with 20 pilots trying for their best times for the championship qualifier. Weather is great with a slight breeze out of the east.
