  • No whip or Linear antennas allowed (To streamline any potential video issues
  • We will use Raceband 1,2,3,4,5,6 as our frequencies
  • Raceband 1,3,5 will all use lefthand antennas
  • Raceband 2,4,6 will all use righthand antennas
  • There is no battery cell limit to participate
  • Additional rules/procedures will be discussed at the pilot briefing

How our Events are Run

  •  Anyone new to racing with us please contact us prior to showing up to the event so we may help guide you through our processes to ensure your first event is as enjoyable as possible.
  • If there is a problem with the frequency you are assigned or you want to fly with a particular pilot contact one of the race staff through Facebook to discuss it.
  • Please arrive before tech check starts so you can setup and get checked in before the last second, we don’t always setup in the same place on the field however we always have a place we would prefer you setup at.
  • After you complete tech check get your quad, goggles and radio ready as if your in heat 1.
  • At the pilot briefing we will discuss safety procedures, track flow and anything specific to this event as well as answer questions.
  • We have the pilots walk through the gate one at a time at the start of the event to make sure pilots are on the correct channel and as a final check of the timing equipment you only need to do this once.
  • We run our heats back to back when possible so try to have your gear ready.
  • A 4 minute timer will start at the completion of a heat, the next heat needs to seated and ready by the end of this timer or any pilots not ready will get a DNF for that round and can try again next round.
  • Up to 1 minute may be granted at the sole discretion of the race director and limited to once per pilot per event (no you may not trade/sell “mercy minutes).
  • At the end of qualifying you will be given your mains positions and you may need to change channels so be ready to change channel and polarity, if you can’t change polarity its up to you to find someone in your mains bracket to change frequencies with and then let the race director know.
  • At the end of the event it is extremely helpful if pilots can grab gates, stakes, etc. and drag it to the container for us to put away (this is not required but appreciated).
