the next four months

Hope everyone is doing good and enjoying this sudden cooldown in the weather. The officers were able to get together last night and hammer out the next four months schedule. Always keep in mind with fall and winter seasons, please follow the events for updates and cancelations if they happen to come up. With that, below is the schedule!!
November 5th – Race
November 20th – Container cleanout / organize day (all are welcome)
November 26th – big belly post Thanksgiving Day race, if you’re in town, come fly with us!
December 10th – Race
December 18th – Race (possibly indoor, possibly toothpick / Tiny Trainer / 3″ & under racing)
January 7th – Race
January 15th – Race (possibly indoor, possibly toothpick / Tiny Trainer / 3″ & under racing)
February 4th – Race
February 19th – Race (possibly indoor, possibly toothpick / Tiny Trainer / 3″ & under racing)
Also in keeping with fall / winter months in Texas, races may be at day or night depending on the weather forecast. It’s pretty easy to make blanket schedules in the summer months cause we’re all trying to avoid the heat but in the cooler months, the occasional night race is still doable depending on mother nature and global warming. 😃

After a nice evening, we have hammered out the next four months race dates. Take note and mark your calendars!

Saturday – July 9th – Night Race
Saturday – July 23rd – Night Race
Saturday – August 6th – Night Race
Saturday – August 20th – Night Race
Saturday – September 10th – Night Race
Saturday – September 24th – Night Race
Saturday – October 8th – Night Race
Sunday – October 16th – Back to Day racing.
For ALLL night races, setup will start around 6pm and tech check will start at 7pm with racing going till 11:30’ish. In most cases we try to have a track ready ahead of time and up on Velocidrone so make sure to follow the events for up to date information pertaining to each and every event.
Details on our 3rd year of the Mission Foods Night Series are still being worked out so any of the above night races could wind up being Mission races. Of course we’ll be making announcements when that happens.
As always, you need hobby lvl FAA registration, AMA membership, and $10 bucks to race with us and we look forward to a fun and exciting next few months!

2022 Mayhem is done

Congrats to Team Don’t Mess With Texas for competing in this years Mayhem Dawn till Dusk drone race!!!!

The biggest team race in the world happened Saturday April 2nd at our home field in Carrollton. Eighty pilots battled for the title over a 12 hour continuous race period! Team White Goat took the win and Team Heart of America followed right behind in second. If you ever see a drone race, this is the race because it draws the top drone racers from all over the world! Next year’s 2023 Mayhem Dawn till Dusk is already confirmed to be coming back next year so mark your calendars!
