Want To Race With Us?

Since our club is a chapter member of the MultiGP organization and our home field is the city of Carrollton property we are required to follow a set of rules during our events. Below outline the details required of us and ask each pilot that plans to join us in a race to follow. We love seeing new pilots come out and race with us and look forward to seeing you at the next race

If you want to fly, you must first:

Join Academy of Model Aircraft (AMA) as either a full AMA member or a Park Flyer

 

 

Register as a recreational (modeler) flyer with the FAA and place your FAA# on your drone you will be flying

 

 

 

To fly at our field the City of Carrollton Texas requires a release form as well. Download the form here and bring it with you to the field

 

Once you have registered with the FAA, joined AMA and filled out the City release form, you now can join a race:

• Join MultiGP’s website where you will set up a pilot profile and an aircraft profile

• Find our chapter on the MultiGP site (Details on upcoming races are posted on the website events page as well)

• Locate one of our upcoming races on the MultiGP site

• Join the race by selecting the CHECK IN and JOIN allowing you to be added

  • Once you join you will be immediately assigned a video frequency channel and be able to view other pilots that have joined

  • (This allows us to organize you into heats and rounds prior to race day)
